Far far away, behind the word mountains, far from the countries Vokalia and Consonantia, there live the blind texts. You live secludedly in Buchstabhausen on the coast of the Semantics, a large language ocean. A small stream named Duden flows through their town and supplies it with the necessary regelialia. It is a paradisiacal country where fried parts of sentences fly into your mouth. Not even the all-powerful punctuation has control over the blind texts – an almost unorthographic life. One day however a small line of blind text by the name of Lorem Ipsum decided to leave for the far reaches of Grammar. The Big Oxmox advised her not to do so, because it was full of bad Commas, wild Question Marks and devious Semikoli, but the Little Blind Text was not to be deterred. She grabbed her seven capital letters, slipped her initial into her belt and set off. When it had climbed the first hills of the Italic Mountains, it took a last look back at the skyline of its hometown of Buchstabhausen, the headline of Alphabetdorf and the subline of its own street, Liniengasse. A rhetorical question ran wistfully over its cheek, then it continued on its way. On the way it hit a copy. The copy warned the little blind text, that where it came from it would have been rewritten countless times and everything that was left from its origin would be the word “and” and the little blind text should turn around and return to its own, safe country. But no amount of convincing could convince it and so it didn’t take long until a few insidious copywriters ambushed it, made it drunk with Longe and Parole and then dragged it into their agency, where they abused it for their projects again and again. And if it hasn’t been rewritten, then you’re still using it.
